One track at a time
Tracks reach you one at a time in a randomized feed. No one pays to be heard more often and no algorithm decides who reaches you, so every track gets a fair first listen.
Filter for what you need
Narrow the feed by genre, location and style, or by whether a track is an original or a cover, and spend your time on the music that fits the project in front of you.
Show interest in a swipe
Swipe to show interest in a track. The artist sees your name, role, organization, location and bio, and decides whether to accept.
Ten messages to see if it fits
A match opens ten messages shared between you and the artist, which keeps first conversations focused. When there is something to build on, you take it forward the way you normally work.
We step back after the match
FirstListen takes no cut, commission or royalty from what comes out of a connection, and artists keep the rights to their work.
